It would seem that since more people are getting their entertainment through cable tv channels, the internet, digital downloads, etc…. It makes almost no sense to just give away the content with advertisers paying less for content that could compete with cable shows if only the stations were not held to some higher standard of conduct. The Sons of Anarchy would get NBC cancelled if they aired the same show that is on FX.

I have figured it out. Wireless companies need the vary airwaves that these stations broadcast on and if free TV went away those would could not afford to pay would listen to more radio, which in turn would raise revenue for radio stations and make their broadcast signals clearer.

So the Radio stations are paying the wireless companies to pay the television stations who will make more money on cable. Who owns all of these companies?! Thats right Rich people and we all know rich people are evil.

Anyways, I honestly wouldn’t miss it because  I have been lucky enough to have cable for as long as I can remember now. I would be concerned about those who could be missing out some entertainment because of the cost of cable and it may be a little bit more dangerous during storms. Local Stations usually still broadcast during storms and if you have a battery powered tv you can get great information.

I can see it now, these pseudo-celebrites having whatever gender is popular at the time. whats next controlling the hair and eye color. If this is the path that we are headed down I can see 2012 as really happening to teach us a lesson.

I have been saying this, College aint for everybody. I made it through one full year and I was done. Look at me now. I have travelled and worked with some of the most talented people on this Earth. I am self-taught on damn near everything I know. I am not saying that no one should go to school, but what I am saying is do what makes you happy and not what just makes you money. You can now be unhappy going to school, unhappy with the work that you went to school for and not get paid as much as you think you deserve for that investment in time.

Food for thought. As long as you are happy, what else matters?
