1st and foremost I would like to offer my condolences to the families of those affected by this tragedy. These are just my thoughts and opinions. While you may not agree with them, please respect my right to form my own just as I respect your right to form yours.
I have never been in the Armed forces and I do not even want to pretend like I understand what it is that they do day in and day out so that the rest of us can live our lives.
The gentlemen who allegedly committed this crime is a life time Muslim who disagreed with the war on Terror. He also is responsible for helping soldiers returning from either theater of war deal with mental health issues. I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but this already seems all bad to me.
Everyone has to right to practice whatever religion that see fit, but how many people can truly separate themselves from their religion and their jobs? How many people can take taunts about their faith from people whom they consider family long term? Real talk, folks may blame muslims for a lot of shit in the last 10 years but if we dial back the clock I am sure that we will find acts committed by all religions that will make us cringe. So I dont think it has all that much to do with his religion.
His job was to hear the thoughts of returning soldiers day in and day out.He helped them readjust to life stateside and/or before they became civilians again. I dont know about you, but if a gang people were telling me about some fucked up shit happening in a particular place and then i was told I have to go there. That would be a problem for me. I think that this is what set him off. fear will make you do some crazy shit.
Put yourself in his shoes before you make a full and complete judgement. I want to know why did you have to hurt all those people who had role in his life. If you feeling some kind of way about something and want to do harm, HARM YOURSELF.
They say misery loves company…..Im sure he will be in great company when he is judged by his GOD for taking innocent lives.
